Webshop during Christmas information
We celebrate Christmas early this year and for that reason my studio and webshop closes on December 18th. If you are thinking of giving an illustration present for Christmas, thank you! But please keep this date in mind and try to do your shopping before the 18th.
Plint, we tuigen op en tellen af
For this years Christmas card, Plint asked 10 poets to write a poem to accompany my bear in the snow illustration. You can order the 20 Christmas cards through the Plint webshop. The ten poems are written by Annemarie van den Brink, Katelijne Brouwer, Jos van Hest, Hans Kuyper, Erik van Os, Fetze Pijlman, Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, Kate Schlingemann, Kees Spiering and Bette Westera.
Illustration for little Magnus
I’ve added a few new originals in my webshop!
Illustrations for NHA
For the second edition of the Dutch NHA magazine I created illustrations based on stories and interviews with people who have chosen a complete different job after doing a course or online study at NHA. Like the previous edition, the magazine is about time management and doing what you actually love to do, but also about tidying up your house and stress management.
New wintercards in my webshop!
My new winter cards arrived in my studio today! These little sendable prints are 14,8 x 21 cm, printed on high quality 350 grams ecological fsc paper, and available in different sets in my webshop.
Inturotel Island people
Last summer our new family of 3 was invited to travel to Mallorca for an inspirational holiday at Inturotel. A family-run, small hotel chain founded and established in “Cala d’Or”. The hotels are famous for their architecture, which is very similar to the whitewashed villages one finds all around the Mare Nostrum. From our hotel room with a beautiful ocean view I created my workspace and started exploring the area of the island above and under water. I had some lovely meetings with the Inturotel team and created sketches which I finalized at home. Seeing these pictures and illustrations again while publishing this post, makes me wish to go back to this wonderful place. The illustrations will be used for their exciting new project, which I will update you about when it’s ready.
