For the first time since I started creating prints in 2011, I’m holding a sale!
Liekeland has been running smoothly for 13 years, turning the things I love most into illustrations and selling them as signed prints in my online store. It had been an ongoing process where I devoted most of my time to creating and regularly releasing new prints.
That is, until I became a mum! That’s when my once-tidy studio cabinet turned into utter chaos. Over the past two years, time became precious, and I lost track of what was in my online store. I had just enough time to manage the essentials —custom illustrations, bookkeeping— but things definitely weren’t running as smoothly as before.
My second son is now half a year old, and slowly but surely, I’m finding more time on my hands, along with the desire to get organized. I needed more structure in my online store, so I sat on the floor and counted every single print in my studio cabinet. Now, I know exactly what I have in stock and have realized some of these prints have been in my collection since the very beginning of Liekeland! It’s time to make space for new work — clearing space in the cabinet also means creating space in my head for new prints.
So, with all that said, I’m holding a sale! All the cards, bags, some originals, and a large part of my collection of prints are discounted at 30%, 50%, and even 70%. I’m excited for these prints to find a new place in your home. Whether they brighten up a quiet nook or add something special to your favorite room, I hope they bring as much joy to you as they did to me while creating them.
Love from Lieke
The cover illustration for the book The Unlikely Hero by Rick McIntyre and David A. Poulsen. The Unlikely Hero tells the adventure story of one of Yellowstone’s most famous animals, Wolf 8, who surprised scientists by becoming a powerful leader. And a second book of this series is coming soon…! On my commissions page you can find the process with sketches for this project.
