Summer adventures with Puuvilla

This summer Puuvilla and his friends are enjoying the underwater world at Shinsegae and collect plastic to help clean the ocean. If by any chance you live or travel to South Korea, you can visit the Shinsegae stores to see the underwater world in real life!

Illustrations for NHA

For the first edition of the Dutch NHA magazine I created illustrations based on stories and interviews with people who have chosen a complete different job after doing a course or online study at NHA. The magazine is about time management and doing what you actually love to do, but also about burn-out versus bore-out. You can find the magazine inside a couple of magazines among which Vt wonen, Kek Mama and Margriet.

Framed prints

The prints are now also available framed in an ayous wood and glass frame! You can find them in my webshop.

Intuition and masks

Last October I finished some projects in commission, and although I love to illustrate for clients, I sometimes feel the need to create things without any plan, sketch or reason. That’s why I looked for an other material then my normal paper and pencils and started working with wool and paper mache.

In the last few years, after graduating from the art academy, I’ve experienced that there is a difference for me when I’m creating through intuition or a thought out plan. You start somewhere and while creating you make all the decisions, based on your intuition. In my latest Youtube video I show you the process and explain how it works for me. Hope you like it!
